The Fellowship of Baptist Pastoral Musicians will be conducting its first annual conference, Polyphony – The Holiness of Beauty, o­n April 3-5, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Asheville, North Carolina.  This newly formed church musicians group is dedicated to “linking and nurturing church musicians who share a passion for sacred choral and instrumental music, hymnody, and the arts.”  Church music professionals, students, and friends of sacred music are invited to enjoy the instruction of guest musician, Sigrid Johnson (St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota), the inspiration of guest theologian, George Mason (Wilshire Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas), and to join in the excitement of determining our future together.
